Donnie Chambliss, leading The DC Team at Crye-Leike Realtors in Southaven, MS, stands out as one of the most optimistic and hardworking champions of Mid-South real estate. With deep roots in the community, Donnie was born in Memphis and raised in Southaven, MS, dedicating his career to serving his clients and the community with passion and integrity.

Background and Education - Donnie attended The University of Mississippi and earned a B.A. from Mississippi College in 1994, followed by a Th.M. in Educational Leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1998. His early career included teaching high school Bible and coaching football, baseball, and softball at Trinity Christian Academy in Addison, TX, from 1998 to 2004. Upon returning to Southaven, he worked in Advertising and Customer Care at Chambliss Builders until 2010.

Real Estate Career - Donnie obtained his real estate license as an 18-year-old freshman at Ole Miss and has maintained an active license for over 25 years. Coming from a distinguished real estate family, Donnie's father was a builder, and his mother, Margie Mays, currently works as an agent for the DC Team. His grandfather, Don Chambliss, Sr., was a pioneer in DeSoto County real estate and served as a MS State Representative for 24 years.

After gaining experience in the family home building business, Donnie transitioned to a full-time real estate career, moving his license to Bob Leigh & Associates (2010-2015) and later to Crye-Leike Realtors in Southaven (2015-Present). Under his leadership, the DC Team has become the #3 Crye-Leike Team in the Mid-South, the #1 Crye-Leike Team in MS, and the #1 Team in the NWMAR Multi-Million Dollar Club in 2023, serving over 1,100 clients with a career team volume exceeding $430 million.

Community Involvement - Committed to giving back, Donnie actively supports numerous community organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, Mississippi Wildlife Rehabilitation, Coldwater River Nature Conservancy, DeSoto Family Theater, North MS Endurance, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as a St. Jude HERO, and the Southaven Chamber Foundation’s Bridge Academy.

Personal Life - Donnie is a devoted family man, enjoying life with his wife, Heather, and their daughters, Karis and Clare. They love playing tennis, spending time at the lake and beach, traveling, and cheering for Ole Miss Football. Heather Chambliss, Ph.D., is a medical writer and health communications researcher at St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Karis is a Senior Biomedical Engineering major at Ole Miss and a student intern with The Rebel Walk covering Ole Miss athletics. Clare is in her Freshman year at Ole Miss majoring in Exercise Science.

Philosophy and Advice - Inspired by his mentor, Steve Collums, Donnie believes in following one's gifts, passions, and unique redemptive story. His faith and dedication drive him to exceed his clients' goals, continually growing personally and professionally by listening, learning, and loving his clients.

Donnie’s advice for aspiring REALTORS: “Go in the direction of your gifts, passions, and unique story. Follow your own God-given GPS to find meaning, joy, and significance. A sovereign God will use every part of your life to accomplish His purposes. Look to Jesus; He is all you need.”

Margie’s commitment to staying in tune with the ever-changing market has made her an invaluable resource to the team and to those she serves.

Beyond real estate, Margie enjoys time spent with her church, her beloved grandkids, and friends. She loves exploring DeSoto County’s shopping destinations, like Silo Square, Dillard’s, and Tanger Outlets, and enjoys dining at favorite spots such as Kyoramen, Mi Pueblo, and Italia.

As the behind-the-scenes powerhouse, she takes on crucial tasks that allow real estate agents to focus on their clients. Kendal’s attention to detail and strong communication skills are key to her success, ensuring smooth transactions and a positive experience for everyone involved.

Outside of work, Kendal is a proud Ole Miss football fan, often found cheering with her family at games. She also loves attending concerts and enjoying live music. Her favorite local spots include The Courtyard, Ultimate Gifts, The Branch, and Stella Ivy for shopping, and Georgia Blue, Memphis Barbeque, and Rotolo's Craft and Crust for dining.

Kendal finds true satisfaction when a closing wraps up, knowing she’s played an essential role in helping someone achieve their real estate dreams. Welcome to the team, Karis Chambliss! As a licensed realtor and the newest member of our DC team, Karis brings a unique blend of local expertise, attention to detail, and passion for serving others. Specializing as a buyer agent in the Oxford, Mississippi, Karis is committed to leveraging her local knowledge to help clients find the perfect property.

Currently a Junior at the University of Mississippi, Karis is pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Intelligence and Security Studies. With a deep-rooted passion for Ole Miss Athletics, Karis is not only a dedicated fan but also actively covers sporting events for the Rebel Walk and is a Diamond Girl for Ole Miss baseball. Outside the sports arena, Karis is highly involved in campus ministries, including Reformed University Fellowship (RUF), and is a proud member of Kappa Delta Sorority.

Karis is happy to be a part of the DC team serving clients alongside her dad, Donnie Chambliss. She is committed to providing the highest level of service to meet each client’s real estate needs.
